...I couldn't stay away. :o

A while back, I mentioned in the Buck forum how I was going to concentrate my collecting on Buck and Spyderco. That was all going fairly well, until I got a chance to handle a Lahar. Woah! I had no idea the Lahar was built that well, for the modest price asked. The ergonomics were great too and the VG-10 just put it over the top. To compound things, I saw a black Shallot and just had to order that too. And to think, I was going to drop the coin on an Emerson.

So, I humbly request admittance to the Kershaw 'fold' once again. This time, I'll be good. ;)

Heh...thanks, riffraff! I confess that I got a real chuckle out of your sig line about the Windows Box. :D

The Lahar most definitely has the characteristics of a knife that could draw in even the most steadfast of outsiders. I think Kershaw must have planned it that way. There's no other possible way to explain such a great freakin' knife at such a low freakin' price!:D;)

Regards,
3-Lahar-G

Great coincidence that I was holding my Lahar in my left hand when I read this thread, try to figure the chances of that happening :)

Great ergos, great steel (like looking at the little 'waves' which are signs of a good heat treat) and solid liner lock. Gottit at below market price here in BF.

Enjoy your Lahar like I did mine :)

Thanks, guys! I am sooo looking forward to Monday's mail delivery. I think that my SG2 Blur is getting nervous, because it knows that it will be bumped from my pocket for a time.

And of course I just had to look at more Kershaws tonight. Now I have discovered the CB JYD II and the CB Leek that my push...er...dealer is offering. Well, I better wait a couple of weeks or my wife will give me a second vasectomy...the hard way. ;)
