It' a sad, sad, day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:( The ABS secretary, Jan Dubois BET ALL OF THE MEN in the cutting competition at the hammer-in, in Old Washington today!!!!!!!!! NO CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

She didn't even cut the 2x4 and still had more points than the rest!
She and I participated as demos. We both used Crowell knives. So since she could'nt win, First Place went to Reggie Barker with Flatgrind placing. They have John on suicide watch!!!!!!!!!!;)

The whole weekend was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen pictures of Jan cutting and she definitely knows what she is doing. Maybe she should officially enter the next competition. That would really get the guys sweatin'.

Way to go Miss Jan. I hated to miss the hammer-in this time.
I'ts not always how hard you swing a blade.....it's how well you swing.
 
Great work Jan. 'bout time some one put those guys in their place ;).

Also good to see Reggie get some recognition. Got to meet him over a couple of meals last year when he snagged his J.S. stamp. Good guy doing some excellent work. He is one to watch.

This should end the carping about, "the big guys have an unfair advantage".
You first must know how to handle the knife. After that there are three things that are a must!!! THE KNIFE, THE KNIFE & THE KNIFE.
