In my search for info on knife steel and how it works I stumbled across this interesting link. I like it's technical explanations and great illustrations. It is 10 pages of very basic steel information important to any knife maker, IMHO.

very interesting! i'm not computer savy enough to get it to print inthe usual
manner...i almost get it. thanks for the info.
can any of the pros enllighten us further? this info gives me better under-
standing to S30V issue.
