The new year is just around the corner! What new or up-and-coming models are you hankering to have for 2011?

Me? CS's Tri-Ad offerings have been given so much praise these past two years, even I was impressed. I was seriously wanting the Recon's except for one detail, the ergo's. While they do look indeed useful and comfy, they look like they "locked" your grip/fingers with those two finger scallops (intended for the index and middle fingers).

Then I heard that the Voyager's were being given the Tri-Ad upgrade. I was really glad I didn't jump the gun with the Recons. They're featured below -

What yours?

There are a few new models from Ranger Knives that are supposed to be pretty sweet. I've even heard and seen a proto pic of a folder that is in the works for them.

I'll probably at some point have to grab up one of those ZT 300 line knives, I'm not the hugest fan of assisted openers but those look too sweet.

I do still need a fallkniven.

I'm looking foward to my new custom knives. Andrew Demko "Bunker Buster" Reese Weiland "Thor" and Reese Weiland "Elephant Skinner"

I've spent the past several years buying various production knives, and only a couple of customs.

In 2011, I plan to spend a lot more time in the Makers' forums. There's a lot of talent there, and I'm amazed how little a good custom fixed blade runs.

Any and all sprint run Spyderco Military, MULE, and Para2 series. I'm also very interested to see whatother collabs ZT has in the works with Rick Hinderer and other talented designer/makers.

Gerber BG Parang Machete (so I can find out if it's any good), curious to see what comes down the pike from Ka-Bar & Becker, Spyderco, Cold Steel, and Kershaw.

The Tri Ad Voyagers were one of my most anticipated knives for this year. Same thing for next year, as long as they keep the distal taper flat grind.
Also the Kershaw Tilt, and the Super Blue Caly 3.5.
