What are the best and worst blades you have in your collection as of now? My best is my beloved ZT 0561, my worst is a Pakistani damascus folder that's supposed to look like a laguiole. I got it from my girlfriend, though, so I'm keeping it around.

This is an unusual question- I don't have any "worst blades" in my collection, depending on how you define "worst" I guess. My collection would range from "good" to "real good" or they wouldn't be in my collection.

So I can say that my best blades, judged by price, would be ZT 0561, BM 581, and green Paramilitary 2. The knife the I like most would be my BM 913. So I can't say that I have any "worst" knives, but at this one the ones that I like a tiny bit less than the others would be Kershaw Blur and Spyderco Tenacious. Actually I still have an old BM mini-grip too.

Right now I have 15 different knives in my EDC rotation (holy crap, how did I get that many!), and I like all of them for one reason or another. They would not be in my EDC rotation if I didn't like them. (Looks like I'm going to have to sell a few.)

I suppose it is a bit strange. It's kinda funny to see some of the junk knives people keep around, though.

Best folder BM Adamas, best fixed Fällkniven F1

Worst Victorinox Hunter XT which came to me with obscene side to side play on the main blade and a centering so terrible the blade almost shaves the liner when closing it. I didn't even bother to return it. I just threw it in a drawer where it's probably still collecting dust

Best folders are my ZT 0561 and small Sebenza.

Worst are definitely the cheap chinese knockoffs I received as gifts (lightning OTF, a couple Ganzos). Among my "real" knives, the worst are unquestionably my Emersons. Blade play all over the place, worse than all the budget knives I own. Most disappointed I've ever been in serious knives, but I still keep them around for their silly mall ninja aesthetics and because I just love the wave to death.

Best : XM18 and Sebenza 21. If I really have to choose I'll go with the 21.

Worst : Kershaw Piston, the knife developed play after going through some cardboard, not to mention the off centered blade.

Folders:

Best: Either one of my CRK small Sebenza 21s
Worst: Cheapo souvenier knives w/little pictures on them that I bought before I knew about "good knives"

Fixed:

Best: My custom Kressler, but my best fixed that I would use is my Big Chris custom. (Inbound soon--I have high hopes!)
Worst: None. Nope. Nada. Not one. Zero.

My "best" blade is my Dragonfly 2....I just love that little cutter. My "worst" blade is no longer....long since consigned to the garbage can...the SOG Aegis. A pile of plastic crap.

Best: Don't make me choose

Worst: Without a doubt a $10 Fox Karambit clone I picked up to play with. It came dull as a butter knife, with the lock pushed ALL the way over to the right, and when I tried to swap the pocket clip to the other side, all three torx screws stripped like they were made from clay. LESSON LEARNED... don't buy counterfeits.

BEST- BM Stryker 905SBT flipper, tied with the Leek for differant reasonsdifferant carries:thumbup: WORST-CS VOYAGER fully seraded and the worst folder to unlock and a real pain to pull out of pocket but if you dremel under the clip it's all good.

My best would probably be my M390 Military. The darn thing is so smooth it's like it's on bearings and locks up with ABSOLUTELY zero movement.

Worst would be my D2 Mini Grip. I can't for the life of me get it to be smooth and easy to open and close one handed and have no play. It's either smooth with noticeable play or solid but most definitely a two handed knife.
