I know the custom shop turns out some lookers. Of your production Bucks, which one do you think is the best looking?

For me, it's my 302:

Eliminating all the Custom Shop, Special Projects and LE's, I have to go with the 532's. They were regular production line catalog knives and just about (to me anyway) the most attractive pattern that Buck produced.

I think the model 500 has the nicest "look" of the Buck folders, very clean, very smooth, with less bulk than the other big folders.

Dogstar,

This is a very good question and will require some thought:). All of Buck's knives except those made for a short time in the old Buck custom shop are really production knives IMHO as they are not made just one at a time and are made on a production line. My mind thinks like Dave's for this question and the SO, LE, BO, and current CS knives just don't fit the OP's topic as these will have special handle material or some other non-production type up-grade. This is a tough question for me as most of my Buck knife pile has been eliminated:eek:.

However, This is an outstanding looking production knife and is my pick for the OP. Sorry for the dirty blade, it is a production knife user;).

I agree 100% on the 500 in the folder category and the 124 in the fixed blade category.

I'll agree with edbeau and add my picture, exactly like his - except for the hat. And the box. And the buckle. And a different sheath. And of course the quality of my photography sucks. :D

I like these... They might not be the best looking... But I like them...

And my Bucklites...

For me its always this discontinued 1988 elk scaled 301. 425m steel.

Make me pick a more recent one, its still a discontinued model, in buffalo. 2008

Third runner up is another "not available" and hard to find. A black pearl handle from the pearl handled models era. 2002 anvil tang

If you say no fair, it has to be current production, they one of the new brass bolstered models.
