Damn Joel, Nice pictures.

This is the only one I have on hand, my buddies CQC5 and my daily carry KelTec P32 (OD/Brown frame) and a limited run OD Surefire 6P.

(Time to break out the camera again)

I was trying to link it up but it seems that photopoint is acting up!

Joel, congrats on getting a 6 at the Blade show! I got my 7 about 3 minutes later.

I was wondering is your 6 a true chisel grind or is there an edge ground on the primary bevel? In the pic it looks like it has an edge. I can tell that John's new 7 is a true chisel grind and so is mine.
Thanks

Mine has an edge!

But I can't complain!

It's like a few ones only have customs & guns! (yeah right!)

come on guys!

Critical Mass,

Congrats! I must have seen ya' there, but can't put a face to the alias. I was pulled right before Joel and bought the pictured CQC7.

Also, you got a CQC7 too? I thought I got the only one there. Got any pictures?

John

John, I will try to post a pic later today or tomorrow when I am home.
In the spirit of this thread I will try and picture it with something nice that goes bang!
BTW the 7 I bought was the last of the 'regular' customs. So, if my name would not have been called right then, it would have been over for me (a $3000 pearl and damascus CQC is not in my budget). I don't know about you but walking away from Emerson's booth with a CQC-7, I felt as though I had just gotten away with something!

I was pretty damn pleased with myself actually.

You'd have thought I won the Lottery.

The customs I saw for sale were the CQC5 (my buddy got), one regular CQC6 (Joel's), a Black-T CQC6 (don't know who got it), the two CQC6/Viper full dress knives and the CQC7 I picked up.

You did well. Several people I knew there were looking for sevens.

For those that are interested, here are pictures of the knives at the show:

Bottom Shelf
Middle Shelf
Top Shelf

For those keeping strict count, there was a second CQC5 on the second day of the show, a serrated CQC7 on consignment and a dealer had a twin CQC6 to Joel's.

Not to mention the truly awesome hand ground, Specwar marked, Damascus "Custom/Production" knives. Four CQC7Bs and Four Mach1s.

Made my little "Usual Suspect" heart go "pitter patter".

I like you would have liked to have scored one of the full dress CQC6/Vipers. One day.

John

I can't believe that three that got the raffle are right here!

That's got to mean something!

Alright, so I am not so nifty with the digi camera.

Instead, here is a pic of the 7 right off of the scanner bed. I am no Ansel Adams here. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=952528&a=6967331&p=23498397

This knife has a CQC-6 blade geometry with a definite CQC-7 handle, satin finish (not bead-blast), and a TRUE chisel grind. It is nice to have something around the house that can so easily highten my spirits!

CM,

Nice seven. Aren't scanners great? The picture above with the Glock was done on my scanner with a $1.75 piece of cloth from Walmart.

John

Don't have a scanner ot digital camera, plus no carry law( YET !)in my state but if allowed it would be my CQC6 and my SS P14 limited or my SS Baretta 92 (Italian)with nite sites.
