EVERY DAY, SHOULD BE VETERAN'S/ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY DAY!!!
Below, is a picture of a former San Diego based USMC Warhorse squadron member taken on one of his deployments, who I've been fortunate to meet in person in San Diego & remain in contact with. He's done some very amazing, brave things for this Nation.
I was also very fortunate, to have met a Command Sgt. Major (Roo), pictured in the Delta unit below. We met in the Philippines, where he took me under his wing & let me stay in his in what he called, his "safe house" in Makati Philippines, for about a year. He had a wonderful, knockout 23 year old maid (Emily), who he named, Hazel.
He took me up to Dao/Angeles City on a couple of occasions, where we would have dinner & drinks at a very popular Expat Special Forces bar (Garfields), & introduced me to many other amazing Expat Veteran's, who have done some extraordinary acts of heroism for our Nation...then we would hit the town...
He was on one of Delta's very first mission's (Operation Eagle Claw), the failed Iran hostage rescue mission, under then President Jimmy Carter.
