Let me start off by saying in no way is this a sort of petition to have more of these made- KAI is doing awesome stuff with these and they're currently on top of the production knife world IMO. This is just more of a thread to be creative and talk about cool ideas you have for this topic/your dream knife. Just a place to fantasize, never hurts to dream, right?

Ill start this one off. I personally think the 030X is the best production knife on the market to date. But a LE version would be amazing for me. Start with a sandblasted, CC style lockbar side, to give it that sebenza like texture. Put on a black lock bar stabilizer disk and sandblasted titanium clip to match, but keep it the same style its always had. Have a smooth, contoured lightning strike carbon fiber scale to go with the titanium side. Then for the blade, have a composite stonewashed 14C28N/ DLC coated Bohler K294 edge. Ive heard this steel at around 63 RC is up to 17% more wear resistant than S110V. Plus its a new, supposed to be state of the art super steel, and who doesnt want to try those out? The 0560 CBCF is my favorite knife to date, But I also love the 0300 series, and I think this would be an awesome limited addition version to go with my 0560CBCF (I plan on getting a production 0560 to go with my 0300 down the road.).

Ti frame lock Blur, unassisted with a flipper. Stonewashed composite M390 blade. Please and thanks! ;)
 
Composite zt0200 with d2 cutting edge and damascus spine, like he 777, and a carbon fiber grip, also with the d2 coated, it would have titanium liners and the spacers would be violet
 
I agree with solidO, except without a flipper. Because IMHO, it's not a blur with a flipper.
 
A 0566, carbon fiber handles, with a solid CPM-10V blade at 64 RC....simple....yet effective...and it would scream use me!
 
ZT makes terrific knives, but I don't own any at the moment. I used to own a 0200 but I sold it because carrying it used to make me feel like the Titanic felt after it hit the iceberg. ;)

My dream ZT is a premium, scaled-down version of the 0560 akin to a 3" XM-18 with a Titanium handle and no AO. And I'd take a serious look at practically any folder ZT decides to make that weighs 4 ounces or less and gives knives like the Southard a run for their money. I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen, however.

i would like to see the piston beefed up into a zt like knife.....or have a tolon with 4in composite blade( composite whole tip and cutting edge)
 
0300DW (desert digi cam) with TAN DLC titanium, washed (like the new blackwash) tiger stripe blade of solid D2, deep carry clip. Simple to do...come on KAI!
