Maybe this has been asked or discussed before but, if you could set yourself with a complete edc/what if bag including your Busse/Kin. How would you set it all up?

You mean like a bug out bag, or possibles bag? I love the idea of a possibles bag but it seems too much like a murse to me to actually try one out. :p

Check! ;)
Here's what I did... Got a MARPAT Assault pack with 3 sustainment pouches added for more storage. The bag has all the usual emergency gear (food bars, water filter, fire making kit, LED lights, extra batteries, first aid kit including trauma items, SOL Bivy Sack, roll of duck tape, rope & paracord, multi-tool), the works. For the "sharp-bits", got a TGLB in the side of the bag, with a SpecOps Sheath, a SRKW Tali Whacker hangs vertically with the handle down on the shoulder strap webbing. Got a SRKW KDSH with MashedCat sheath and Tek-lok, and finally a SRKW Waki in an AZ Welke sheath with a leather baldric rig to haul her.
All rides quietly in my trunk until needed. Then I can choose what I need for the situation. Options. I like options... :D

Basically, what I mean is what have you wanted to have to build a bag? The things you have always wanted if you had the money to build one with?
For instance, as for me a Busse TGLB, good sharpening kit, to put in my bag, a multitool (Leatherman surge new style) cyalume light sticks in various color and lengths, a good well thought out FAK, Surefire p3x Fury with two boxes worth of batteries in a waterproof container, various fire making supplies with ferrocium rod and striker, field striped MRE's, kifaru supertarp, Woobie, 100 ft milspec paracord,FN Five Seven with two hundred rounds extra ammo with spare mags, Otis cleaning kit, waterfilter kit with stainless steel bottle and small cooking kit with utensils, gps with battery spares and traditional compass, signal mirror, folding saw and a tom bihn super ego with the ultimate shoulder strap for ease of carry and for low profile carry. Just something like that.

Those packs seem great and all .... But you'll need to be more inconspicuous if you live anywhere where there is population. You can't look too military or attract attention to yourself... Just saying.

i would like a carinthia observer plus a carinthia explorer down and an exped downmat all in exped waterproof shrink bags to add to my fast pack edc

I like your set up there Ron, replace your pistol with my Colt and it looks mighty close to what I'd pack up with the right amount of fundage.

A nondescript pack idea I'd think would be one of those generic day packs from the sporting goods stores like Academy? I see them constantly here downtown at the River Walk. They dont seem to attract a second glance, even from security types. Some are rather well built with lots of little cubbies and pouches. Most all of them are very non military in looks.

You need the everyday items too.toilet paper, coffee, tea, spices.also need a carabiner, coffee can and bird seed for catching birds (MRE's dont last)you know what they say about a bird in the hand, also need tube Tent, space blanket, contractor grade trash bags, surgical tubing, aluminum foil (3ft),28 gauge wire for snares, safety needles & thread,a baloon for water cantine, double edge razor blade, fishing lure.

Copy that, most of the stuff I mentioned was just what I could think of off the top of my head. I a Tactical Tailor three day plus assault pack in ranger green, no Molle, how bout that? That's if it don't sell on ebay. I got it listed so I can save towards a TGLB. If it does sell then I will find an Eagle Industries Aiii plain. They are pretty rare these days or maybe get a Redwing 50?

I've got an Eagle pack, day pack size, that I have no idea what its name is. Got it back in 2001. Its got the Camelback style hydration bladder in a section of it. I love that little pack, expensive back then but I'd hate to see what its going for now.

Anyone know how to find out what model it is?

Post a picture of it. I bet though that if it's Eagle Industries then it's an Aiii.
Not an Aiii, but I did find it. Its a Recon Hydro Pack 3 pocket. More straps on this little bugger than I've ever seen on a pack. :)

This one has been discontinued for quite some time I figure. I got it about 14 years ago so yea, the industry. Actually I'm a little surprised to see Eagle still going, are they under new management I guess? Last I heard they were gasping for air.

Now you got me peeking at the Aiii, I like the looks of that one, but I value my health. Another pack and the wife will hurt me. :p

Ebay has some lbt three day assault pack that are just as good although, not as big as the Eagle industries version. Now though all their most recent stuff is made offshore in the Dominican Republic for expensive prices. It's a shame! LBT is all American made and occasionally you will see their stuff at a cheaper price.
