I like to collect knives with a variety of colors for their handles. I just think black handles get tiring sometimes so I look for something different. What colors do you guys like?

Some of the ones I have are:

Blue Mini-Griptillian.
Osborne with green handle.
Yellow Rittergrip.
Foliage green Endura.

I really want an XM-18 with an orange handle.

The two BM Rukus I edc have the green and black G-10 scales. I like it better than just all black. I was into the red handles for awhile, but where I work my hands can get pretty dirty. Then when I used the knife it got pretty darn ugly. Go I tend to steer towards the darker colors. If my hands did not get so dirty, I would probably stay with red though.
So I will say red is my favorite.

Black is a great default for FRN and G-10.

But I have to admit I absolutely love it when carbon fiber (grey) appears on the scales.

Of course, you can't go wrong with the light grey of a Ti framelock either.

Now with inlays.... the sky is the limit!

Normally, I dont like orange.

but orange XM-18 looks gorgeous, best looking ones imo

I want a deep blue knife. not a blue, not navy, but a really deep blue.

Indigo, maybe? That is about as dark a blue as you can get before turning black. There is a North American snake with that name, native to the south east, especially Florida. Looks black, but actually dark dark dark blue.

I have several blue handled knives. I love the bright blue color on them. I have red & black. I have a gray handled knife coming soon. I have a Cyan colored handled knife, as well as a yellow handled knife. What else.......I have a green handled by Seam O'Hare being made soon.

Anything in canvas micarta -- Lately I dig the texture over the specific colors... although those pumpkin G10 Busse handles are pretty spectacular. I agree that black gets a bit overdone but i recently got a BM Mini-Dejavoo with G10 that almost has a carbon fiber look for some reason. I've really liked that for a no-nonsense look.

I really like the green G-10 on my Spyderco Military D2. Natural canvas micarta on my BRKT Fox River is sweet. I don't mind black though, it is never a deciding factor for me.

-If the blade has a black finish or coating, I like textured snow-white G10 scales, OR red micarta scales.
-If the blade has a mirror polish or satin finish, I like either smooth orange or green G10, depending on the knife.

Maroon Micarta, Desert Tan G10, Grey Carbon Fiber, White Bone, Reddish-Dark Ironwood Burl, and Natural rough Big Horn Sheep

I wear black jeans pretty much 7 days a week. Black handles work just fine for me.
