:thumbup:Your Favorite Grind? Opinions please. Especially on Mistress and what is one the CG ASH-1?

THey will really be taken serious if a bottle of Rum is posted with comment:D:thumbup:( to drunk to post mine)

Seriously

Sabre VS Full Height VS Convex , Asemetrical?--(its rum what can I say)

It would depend on the application for me. On a smaller knife I prefer Full Flat for slicing efficiency. On larger choppers I prefer full convex and also full flat.

I agree with Ban. Full flat is always sweet. Saber if its really big chopper type. I like hollow grinds on some really thin slicers too (like spyderco). Even a scandi (think Fallkniven). I only own one full convex blade(Bravo-1) and its sweet too. I guess I like them all. I DONT like chisel grinds though. Seems they are always on the wrong side and they are usually tantos in my experiences.

For all my knives... I like a Full Flat grind to a convex edge... but I'll settle for a Sabre grind to convex edge if I can't have that.

For my users - flat grinds
some safequeens (only aesthetical) - sabregrind (SFNO for example)

On the HHFSH the sabregrind is useful because of the weightbalance. Because of it the HHFSH is more bladeheavy and therefor a better chopper.

I like it when she bends down and grabs her ankles on the dance floor.

Sorry, I only have vodka pics.

It's a toss-up between full flat and saber.

I like the flat grind, sabre if I must.

I like the hollow grind on my sebbie, but thats made for slicing.

I haven't used a convex but I plan on it one day ;) In theory I'd have that on a FBMLE and a flat edge on anything smaller (5inch and under)

never used the asymmetrical edge, don't know how that would go, and I'm not a fan of chisel, as far as I see it, a chisel restricts the blade use to one hand/motion

A flat grind is my favorite by a mile. I don't need a wedge built into my knife. Flat grind just slides through when you cut.

Guyon---That Stoli came right out of the freezer! I can tell. Oh, and---nice infi.

Must say it was .....good

after first two (NEAT) which tasted like a Good shine:eek:

IT was on, and the rest were very smooth. Best part no hangover:D

KEEP em coming guys....thanks

Full flat primary, convex secondary. Or full convex. Or "zero grind".

Yeah, that.

It's hard to say. Depends on the use. Full flat is nice, full convex is nice, too. I've always liked Scandi grinds. The saber on the FFBM is awesome. :D
