What are your favorite websites for hiking, outdoors, backpacking, etc?

I'm looking for blogs in particular, but let's see what you're reading!

Bladeforums and youtube is where I get most of my information of camping and stuff. Outside of my dad and brother.

I often read the fishing forum for a Nebraska outdoors forum. Also read another Nebraska outdoor forum, but less frequently. The fishing section of the first is much more active and often more informative. Don't read the hunting sections of either so much, just more interested in fishing I guess. Love hunting, but for some reason I just don't do the hunting forums as much.

Well I liked Outdoors-Magazine.com before it went belly up. Would have been nice to get some kind of warning so I could have saved the articles I liked...

Theres a thread here somewhere on that.
I think i may have started the thread actually.
Do a search you might be able to find it (i can't find it,lol).
In that thread is a link to a website where you can download the ENTIRE SITE articles etc as one very large file.

I've been checking out Woodsmonkey lately. Some good articles.

http://www.woodsmonkey.com/

and I always read Laurence Gonzales "Deep Survival" blog at NG Adventure.

http://ngadventure.typepad.com/blog/deep_survival/index.html

Hope that helps!

Woodsmonkey is great. It's definitely one of the best wilderness oriented sites out there. Gonzales' blog is also a good read. I just wish he would update it more often. Not that I can really talk, since I am terrible at updating my own blog.

Other sites I check:

BushcraftUK

Gear Talk

Hammock Forums

There are a ton more, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
