These pink Syderco"s are interesting but I don"t know if I would carry it out side the house. Though it might be a chick magnet. lol "conversation knife" Also there is money given to breast cancer research when you buy one.
OK so.
Who's got one or more? Who likes them? Who carries them out side?

I don't have one, I like the fact that some of the profits go to breast cancer research, I almost bought one for my sister, and if I had a pink native I would put it into my EDC rotation. The main reason is I'm sure it would be sheeple friendly.

That would make a nice gift for a gf or a wife but I would never carry one. I do like the fact that some of the proceeds benefit breast cancer research. Anyone got a photo?

.....last year I gifted pink Delicas to each of the granddaughters; I always though a pink Endura would be useful for yard chores....easy to locate.....would help with those "senior moment" when I put the knife down but can't remember where.

I will eventually buy a pink Native to support Spyderco's donation to breast cancer research. I doubt I'd carry it around town......I got my "hang ups" around pulling out a pink knife in front of my peers. ;)

With the exception of the pink paring knife and the pink baliyo, I have given my wife all the pink spydercos. She uses the Delica 4 from time to time, but her favorite has to be the cricket. She does get positive comments from it, and women seem to be more receptive to a pink knife, than just a knife.

I wouldn't hesitate to carry or use my pink Native.

All my friends are mature enough to realize I'm supporting the breast cancer awareness cause---many of my friends and family have dealt with this ailment, and similar cases. I myself feel proud on the days I leave the Military, Griptilian, or Sebenza behind and carry pink.

Why not? As a matter of fact, I chose pink as my first mini-Griptilian primarily because of Benchmade's claim of supporting a very good cause. I do not realize Spyderco is also donating part of the proceeds from their pink knives. Although I am more partial to an orange Grip or an orange ladybug, perhaps I should take another look at Spydie's pink offerings. Thanks for the tips.

The following is just a side-by-side shot illustrating the relative sizes of the mini- and the regular Griptilians.

For my purposes, loud-colored knives are simply great because I use them as simple cutting tools and would not want them to be camouflaged into the whatever environments that I am in. YMMV.

I use my pink native out and about with no issues. Many people don't even recognize it as a knife at first, and then they ask, why is it pink?

I picked up a Vic Classic breast cancer pink for my ex-gf a couple of months ago for no particular reason other than I saw it at Target and I use my black one all the time. She said "Oh great, now I can stab someone" with a sarcastic tone. A Classic, for God's sake. Knives don't get to much more harmless tool than that. Her attitude is only one of the many reasons we are no longer together. My next gf will get a nice locking folder in pink early on in our relationship. If she reacts more reasonably I might keep her. -DT

I plan on getting my wife and daughter both a Pink Native.:D

Generally, I hate pink but these are not bad.

I gave my daughter a pink leek for her 13th birthday last year. I'd never handled a leek before, and it was a much better knife than I expected. If I carried small, I'd definitely consider a leek. I liked it so much I bought my father a damascus leek so he and the grand-daughter could have matching knives.

The last time I found my wife using one of my knives to chip grout out from between bathroom tiles, I suggested that there were better tools for the job bought her a pink Endura so that she could ruin her own knife, rather than mine.

I don't think she has used it yet. Strangely, it hasn't seemed to stop her from grabbing my knives for non-knife tasks. Those of you who are married may understand.

I often carry a pink Leek when wearing a suit -- it's a good size and the stainless leeks are so common, I decided to go with the pink.

....Oh, I understand ;). My revenge on my wife is on occasion to use her good sewing scissors out in the shop. You ought to see the look on her face when she catches me....and that tone of voice....." you're not using my good scissors to cut that, are you ?" :)

I have a pink E4 and my wife has a pink D4. Personally, I really like the color - just makes me happy and reminds of raspberry sherbet.:p

I carry the E4 whenever I will be around alot of women (daughter's baton twirling competitions, etc.) and other times just because I like the color.
