My favourite wooden handled 'quality' gentleman's folder - Fallkniven TK3 in cocobolo;

Also, not my picture - Ian Atkinson who does work under the name of Leodis Leather in the UK made the custom pouch and took the photo. For the record, I am nothing to do with Ian professionally but am delighted with his work...

...and it has kept the TK3 in great condition!

Cheers,

Ben

This is one of my favorites. The scales can be interchanged with any Colt 1911 grips.

and of course the Buck 110

MTHall720,

Glad you like the cocobolo too. As so often is the case with wood, it looks so much better in reality - even good photos can't do it justice.

I've tried others on my fixed blades but am on a bit of a cocobolo kick right now...

Good luck finding the knife you want!

Ben

don't have any wood scaled knives and although its only inlaid, I keep getting drawn to the crk mnandi.

who makes that 1911 knife?

Ultimate Equipment - they make a few variations, the folders have a proprietary lock, similar to a lock-back but the release is in the front, it looks like a mag release. A wrench is supplied to switch scales, any std 1911 grip will fit.
