What's your favorite Swiss Army Knife for EDC? I'm sure a lot will say the Farmer, (I already know what mqqn will say), but mine is the Pioneer, in black. (I've also got a few of the old Soldier models stashed away). For EDC carry I've never had a lot of use for the saw on the Farmer, in the woods is another story.

I realy like my alox electrician .. granted i dont really use the reamer much but otherwise its in constant use between long and short blades

The camper. And whatever the name is of the newer one.. Yellow/black handles and a locking blade.
(Found it--evo grip). Good knife.

I carried a Camper from the early 80's up until it was "borrowed" by a coworker in late 91.
then I discovered the Huntsman and it's been in my pocket pretty continuously since.

For woods carry it was the Farmer but I have found myself carrying my Lumberjack more often. Around town I carry a Cadet, I've never found a good use for the awl of the Soldier.

The black Pioneer that I got from you is my most carried SAK.

I would like to pick up a Pioneer X (scissors added) when easily available.

The Pioneer X sounds like the custom I had built a few years ago. Mine was green.

This thread made me go look for one again. I now have one on the way for $36 shipped. Found it on the Bay.

I got a Tinker for my 12th B-Day and carried it for 10+ years (I still have it). When I started wearing a suit for work I picked up and Executive and Classic. Now I carry a JK fixed everyday.

The Waiter. It has a nice-sized spear point blade, a can/bottle opener, a corkscrew, the standard screwdrivers, tweezers and a toothpick.

I never leave home without a Vic Waiter.

Not my video - but a review of a waiter.

A link to the Victorinox site - the knife has 9 tools and is listed as a medium sized pocket knife.

Last year I left my trusty Waiter in a rental car since I was downtown in Chicago and could not take it into the building (metal detectors). I forgot to put it back in my pocket and left it in the car when I returned it. Of course the knife was not found by the cleaning crew.

I replaced it with a vintage version with a grooved corkscrew , and I still have a new in the box just in case.

I only have one and I will be darned if I know the name of it. Got it back in the 90's from Marlboro using Marlboro miles. Have to put up a pic of it.

Pioneer. It's the perfect EDC, for me. Seems like I'm constantly using it for all sorts of different things.
I gave my black one to my brother after I won this green one in a give away on the traditional forum a few years ago. I picked up an orange one a few months ago, but it's still in the box.
I switch to a farmer in the woods, though. That little saw can be handy.

I have been carrying a Tinker for a while now. I switched from one handed openers and can't seem to switch back.

Tinker. Have that wood scaled one I got from JK in trade for a Herter's compass at one of the gatherings. But also been carrying the yellow w/ black rubber insert handled Wenger that was gifted to me by KYEnglish. I like the fact that they both have a sturdy Phillips screwdriver in place of the cork screw. I turn a lot more screws than I open wine bottles.

there all god, standard model in red is always nice, though I like the alox models to, been the alox farmer laterly

Buy better whiskey! :P

You need the apprentice model then - and I can see that in your business -

farmer for me or the one hand trekker. I love both of them but favor the trekker as I attached a nite ize clip to it. one of the ones with 3m adhesive and it's super pocketable. both great.
