Not one of those, if you could only have one threads but. Your favorite knife for.

Mine

Hunting Big game. KOA Elk Hunter
Hunting small Game. KOA Alpha Wolf
Fishing. G-96 9 inch Fellet Knife
Back Packing. SAK Outrider
Extended camping trips. Kabar Camp Knife
Going to work. SAK Vic Explorer.

I have lots of substitutes but these are my likely grab first knives.

I dont have neccessarily favorites for each category, but these are my "primarys" so far. But I am always looking for the next "favorite".

Hunting Big game. Gossman Hunter
Hunting small Game. Busse AD
Fishing. Case Filet
Back Packing. Busse SFNO/hr
Extended camping trips. Busse SFNO/CGFBM
Going to work. Spyderco Mili, DDR GH

My favorites:

Hunting Big game. BRKT Wolf River
Hunting small Game. BRKT Mikro-Canadian
Fishing. Queen D2 toothpick
Back Packing. Spyderco Military or Benchmade 740
Extended camping trips. BRKT Settler
Going to work. Spyderco Military or Paramilitary, or Benchmade 740,

Keep in mind that I always have a small-ish slipjoint in my back pocket, regardless of what else I carry, and at work I always have a Salt 1 clipped into my Stearns float-coat....

Hunting Big game, hunting small Game: I don't hunt game.

Back Packing: Custom Shoppe Buck 110. But I don't do any real backpacking these days; just day hikes mostly.

Extended camping trips: Custom Shoppe Buck 110 again.

"" " small: Bark River Highlander A2

Hunting Big game. Junglee Panda Skinning Axe
Hunting small Game. Bark River Lil' Bird and Trout

Back Packing. Leatherman Wave & NWA Wilderness & Survival Forum knife

Going to work. Boye Dendtitic Cobalt folder with Marlinspike

These will probably change many times before tomorrow but the Fishing, work, and large game will stay the same.

Big and small game=Cold Steel Master Hunter(first year they came out)
Camping I would have to say the same as above and a good little axe(plumb)
Fishing would have to be whatever pocket clip folder I have on me or a very very old Rapala fillet knife
Don't back pack but I do alot of stump shooting in the spring and fall and I like a nice large blade for digging judo points out of trees and stumps etc. Again I use a very old German made Bowie, of which the name slips me now.
EDC I vary but it could be a Hatamoto, Jones Brothers Responder, Les Adams tac folder, or a EKI in one iteration or another.
