I ove ColdSteel, one of the most practical blades around, do share your thoughts and opinion on any of the CodSteel piece you have, you may also put in those that displeased you.

The discontinued Red River/Hudson Bay knives are some of my favorites as they're lots of knife for little money, and are kind of like a 'Merican Mora :^) I especially like the elk hunter but the butcher knife and American hunter are nice too. It's relaxing reshaping the handles and fun sharpening them as the thin, 1/8in Carbon V steel takes an excellent edge. I've started giving them as gifts to family and friends who seem to appreciate an old fashioned, very good knife.

Both the Vaquero Grande and the Scimitar qualify for me, simply because of their attitude!(It doesn't hurt that they are both shaving sharp out of the box, and stay that way!)

The only knife I own made by Cold Steel is the Vaquero Grande, and I have no complaints. Owned a mini pal for a few months, but decided it was complete garbage.

A lot of stuff I get from Cold Steel doesn't have a blade... 6 foot Lathi's for martial arts, and I am a big fan of the sjambok.

I have several of the Cold Steel knives, and they are great knives for the money! I have one of the original All Terrain Chopper kukris that has been reprofiled by John Fitch to a much more useful thinner edge. I carry a Recon Scout in my truck, I have a brand new SRK that I just got off Ebay. I also have a couple of the Hudson Bay blades laying around I forgot about. Maybe I will get off my butt and stick some nice ironwood slabs on one of them.

I have enjoyed all my CS knives and carry a large Vaquero often, a Tanto in the winter IWB; and have beat the heck out of my Bushman. The only one that I haven't used a whole lot is the Triple Action Folder, too busy playing with a new cheapy butterfly knife I guess...

I like their fixed blades a lot. Not crazy about their folders though. SRK and LTC Ghukri are awesome

I have one CS piece now, a Trail Master Bowie in stag, I have no need to use it, it's jsut part for my stag display. It is a very impressive knife.
I have a second on the way, a Black Bear Classic, that I had Jake Evans put some stag scales on. I can't wait for this one.
I have been tempted by some of the other knives in the CS line, most notable are the Scimitar and the Desperado. Two very unique knives, but I just don't have the need for them right now.

Out of all the knives I have, the Bushman ranks high among them, it is probably just the fact that I know that I can beat it around because it only cost 15 dollars, and, in the rare case that it does break, there is a three year waranty that would cover any damage.

I don't like their folders, but I have a Bushman and a Special Forces Shovel in my emergency bag in the car trunk, an SRK under the car seat, a double-edged Para-Edge neck knife (which I don't like much), and a Tai-Pan, which was the first expensive (over $100) knife I ever bought. I have no real use for it, but it's very cool-looking.

I also have one of their sjamboks, which I got for $5. It's probably the most vicious weapon I own.

I have the bushman, it's judst about the only knife that is reasonably priced over here. I beat the hell out of it on a regular basis, and the Battle Mistress i have on order is going to supplement it, not replace it. I did have an SRK untill some s**t head kid took it. Oh well. It was a fantastic knife, i would recomend it highly. Nothing bad about it. For the money, you can beat it up and not feel too guilty about it. Although i saw it in a shop the other day selling for $190

I'll stop bitching about the exchange rate and keep hoping i can get to next years blade show with a fist full of cash and an empty suitcase or two

Starting with the favorite and in descrnding order:
Trailmaster
SRK
Master Hunter
Recon Tanto
Bushman

Used to like their folders until much higher quality folders from other sources became readily available at comparable prices.

I have an LTC kukri and it has served me well in the bush! Everyone shoud have a Bushman too. I gave one of the kitchen knives to my mom on mother's day and she loves it (my Aunt always stares at it longingly when she comes over.)

I must have a Taipan.......

I only own one CS knife; a Trailmaster Bowie in stag which I had ( XXX R XXX ) filed around the guard and ( /// G \\\ ) filed around the butt plate.

It looks nicer than it sounds.
