As the title says, would love to see your tried and true favourite scandi grind knives and steels, in fixed, folding, or both!

Some like the Utvaer are also available carbon (when they are available!)
AFAIK all Helle blades are mirror finished.

What steel on the Enzo and why did you pick it over the other steels? Looks great, I would love one. That, or the Helle Temagami.

Sorry, it was about ten years ago, can be whatever they had in stock at brisa.fi at the time... I only remember the scales are purpleheart.

I like the Brisa/Enzo Birk 75 in D2 with curly birch scales for pocket carry. I'm into various older Finnish puukko and also sometimes carry an older, pre 1960's Mora by Broderna Jonsson or Carl Andrsson with laminated blades (both puukko style). Pics when new. I used a leather pouch sheath when I carried the BJ or CA.

I'm not experienced enough to tell what knives they are. Could you include their names, too, please?

Enzo Trapper with a slightly modified handle and a Mora Robust with finger guards ground off and handle wrapped with jute twine and polyester resin. My trapper is made with O1 steel. But the trapper can be had in a variety of steels. The Mora C100 steel.

I've just kind of liked Scandi knives, especially for the nice wood in the handles. They always seem to perform pretty well for me. These are a few I've picked up over the years.
