9 fingers and a knife or 10 fingers and NO knife.

Or the knife, 9 fingers, and THEN 8 fingers....if yer clumsy.

Anyone that want.s to give up a finger to keep all their knives.. I have some prime Ocean Front property in Arizona for them!:D If worst comes to worst a piece of knapped Obsidian will cut great. The cavemen have been using it a long time!:D

Easy choice - Knife.

I'm a disabled vet with hardly any use in my left arm and hand. 1 finger less on my left hand would not impact my day at all.

Funny, but I'm not even a knifeknut (yet?) and that was my first thought upon reading the OP's question.

In a more serious vein: I'll keep my fingers, thankyouverymuch.
 
I would keep my fingers. I would simply start EDC'ing a chainsaw.
 
I would have to give up my knives and keep my fingers.

However I might be able to get along just fine without one of my pinky fingers.

Still.....it's really a crazy question. I could find lots of stuff that would cut like a knife. I would carry a sharp flint in my pocket or a piece of slate or obsidian. :D

If I had to give up all my knives I would go buy a key blank and sharpen the key so I could use it like a knife. :D
 
I'd definitely lose a finger to keep knives from being made illegal to carry. Of course, you guys would owe me, and I'd expect some cool packages to start arriving in the mail. :)
