My first knife was a little thing my dad bought me way back before I was even in kindergarten. I don’t have it with me at the moment, but I think its marked "imperial" on the blade. I found it the other day in a box with some other stuff, no rust and still sharp. the single blade must only be about an inch or inch and half. I remember getting it at this little store on the way to my grandparent’s house. We were in there with my cousin, and I was told I could get anything I wanted. I took the knife to my dad and said "can I get this?!" and he looked down at me and thought for a moment and said "I guess your old enough." it looks so small now compared to what I’ve had over the years, but I have many fond memories of that knife, running around my yard (knife was in my pocked obviously not open and in my hand, my dad taught me better than that). it served me well for a few years until he decided I was old enough to take possession of the 4 or 5 knives that he had packed away from when he was a kid. I still have all of them, and a lot of newer, fancier models, but the small little imperial is still my favorite one of them all. :)

When i was in the cub scouts i found a camillus knife stamped U.S. on the handle. It had a blade, bottle opener, can opener, leather punch. It was marked 1968 on the blade and it was in stainless steel. I still have that knife. I fell in love with knives because of that knife.
