I own two Spyderco diving knives, see attached photo.
They are numbered #0559 and #0513.

How many of these did they make?

What are they worth?

From what I can gather these are quite rare and I saw some go on ebay some time back for around $180-200

Mike-

I believe they are called "Dive Probes." I belive it came in a large and small size. I dive with mine pretty regularly. A little CRC-336 spray pretty much keeps the rust away.

I too have seen them go as high as $200.00 on eBay.

SAL...If you're reading this, the lock on my large probe is broken. Can it still be repaired?

Mike - welcome to the Spyderco forum. I'm thinking that we only made about 600 each (large & small). Certainly no more than 1,000.

Ben - We no longer have parts. It's been a long time since we made them. It would have to be a custom repair. Probably most efective to have a custom maker make and install a new lock.

I still dive with mine. (smaller probe).

Sal- Thanks. I've had mine for over 10 years. I thought it was worth a shot. I'm sure I can find someone to repair it.

Mike- What's the length overall with the blade closed?

10.25"

Both have never been in the water or used to cut anything. Sat in the back of the safe.

Some surface scuffs from rubbing against each other, minor.

Would like to get $300 for the pair.

Mike-

I believe that yours are the large size. $300.00 for the pair sounds reasonable. If I can't find someone to fix mine, I may be in touch!

BTW- I'm a LE Law/Firearms/Applied Patrol instructor here on the other side of the country.
