Hello and good day or evening! Come on admit it, we all have some pieces we know we will never use or carry but we wanted anyway! For me it's my Case V-42 Stilletto or my Cold Steel Magnum Tanto IX. I know I will never carry or use these but I like having them any way! What knife do YOU have that YOU will probably never use but like having anyway? Thanks for the replies and be careful out there!

I have lots of knives that I will probably never use. Funny, when I started collecting custom knives several years ago I had a very strong Use ethic. But now my Warenkski skinner, several Winklers, and quite a few others will likely never cut anything but air. I do use custom knives made by PJ Tomes and Jim Crowell, but most of the others are just things I had to have. They meant more to me than the money did, and still do.

You only need so many using knives. The number of knives I want possess, fondle, and admire is apparently limitless. I wish my money supply was the same

Two of mine come to mind:

My Cold Steel 9 inch Magnum Tanto.
(But I love the damn thing anyway, as it's SO MUCH FUN to play with and swing around in the air...).

My Cold Steel Stainless Trail Master Bowie. (A NICE knife, but since I don't chop-down trees, or hunt bear with a knife...).

I guess I'll cast the third vote for the Cold Steel Magnum Tanto IX--but I wouldn't ever get rid of it, it's too much fun to play with.

A no-name Chinese knock off of an Emerson CQC7. I bought it for $12. I'm afraid to carry it under any circumstances.

Two things come into my mind:
- Combo edge blades. Fortunately I have only a couple of those; a BM and a Spyderco.
- Switchblade I bought while wisiting Greece about 20 years ago. For sure I don't have any use for it, but it has character. So I want to keep it.

I have to admit I don't have a lot of useless blades since I've gotten into knife throwing.

My most uesless knife? The one I haven't received yet 'cause I haven't paid for it yet 'cause I haven't ordered it yet 'cause I don't have the cash yet!

Oh! You mean which knife *of the ones I have* is the most useless! I see, now. I guess it's the Gerber EZ-Out knock-off that's hidden in my shaving kit. Hardly ever even see it anymore. Then again, maybe that's 'cause I stopped shaving!

Otherwise, I don't have enough knives or an expensive enough or 'dear' enough knife yet to not use them. Not every one gets used every day, but within the week or month (at the longest) everything sees use.

I mean, it's like taking your dog for a walk. I feel guilty if I don't use the knives! Like I do when I don't take any of our three dogs out for a walk. Poor things!

Most useless knife? My G-10 Civilian. I love it and all, but it sleeps in it's pouch most of the time... I doubt that I'll carry my Matriarch when it gets here either.

My Phrobris III M9 bayonete.

Its big and fun to play with but won't hold an edge worth a damn. If only it was made in VG-10 or BG-42! No that would be a great survival knife!

It's got to be that Hibben Double Shadow I bought years ago -- well before I knew much about what makes a good blade. What was I thinking?

A Benchmade knock-off I got for $20 about 4 years ago ...

And this silly $150 "combat" knife a friend gave me ... apparently he was trying to get rid of it for good reason! Out of the box, it wouldn't cut paracord (which my CS PeaceKeeper II made mincemeat of).

Well...Ive got this gigantic Rambo III knockoff that weighs about 30 pounds. Like someones else said...If i hunted bears with a knife maybe I'd use it.

After the recent arrival of my Benchmade 710 in M2, my ats-34 710 has been gathering dust. As much as I like it I doubt it'll be cutting anything for quite a while. But it's still fun to flick around so it's not completely useless yet, and I guess I could use it for spare parts

Hmm, while I promised myself I would never call a knife useless, I suppose it would have to be my Gerber Guardian. Its perfect size, but I can't keep it sharp to save my life

As everyone knows, a dull knife is a useless knife.

My mom and dad know I love knives, so they bought me the Franklin Mint Wildlife Series. They are a series of six of the ugliest knives you have ever seen, with six different animals on the scales. They were so proud of their gift when they gave them to me. I just took them and told them how great the knives were. I would be afraid to try to cut warm butter with them because the blades would probably break. The blades had stickers on the back of them that said "Made in China". Now that tells you how great they are.

Then my wife bought me this presentation case to put them in to display. I don't plan on sticking them on the wall where anyone can see them anytime soon.

My most Un Used knife would have to be one of my vitronox knives
