by production date not how long you have owned-

i just recieved a 1930's camillus knife, designed after the one george washington carried -

so far thats my oldest

Unknown age but in 1999 I found a pig sticker in a farmers shed as my family was buying equipment from him. He let me have it and told me that his father forged it when he was a kid and the farmer was in his 80's. Other than that it would probably be my turn of the 20th Century Tulwar

Ren- PICTURES PLEASE- that is something that we just have to see!

I believe it would be a Schrade Cutco double switchblade for me. The last patent date listed is Sept. 13, 1910. Two others have 1916 patent dates listed, so I believe the oldest was made between 1910 and 1916.

I have a J Russell Trapper that the seller told me was about 75 years old. I also have a Camillus 83, but I don't know the exact vintage on that.

I have a hand-forged Khukri from the Atlanta Cutlery buyout of that Nepal British-empire armory. The Khukri was supposedly made in the 1800s.

I also have some older bayonets, including a model 1907 that was made in 1913 or later. I'm not an expert, that's based on something I read.

Of traditional pocketknives, I have a small collection of Bruckmann knives that were made before WWII, a couple of Geisen Forsthoff knives that are pre-1950s.

Added: Another request for a photo of Ren's knife. Pretty please?

My oldest knife is a small slipjoint that belonged to my grandfather. It was stiff and somewhat rusty when I got it, but It's in good enough shape to carry and use now.

Probably a Schrade-Walden folder I got back around '71 or so, although I do have a Vietnam-era Ka-Bar that may be a few years older. Nothing really old though.

Middle ages Circa 1410...bone handle etched with my family crest..obviously one knife in my collection never to be sold..
Everybody has his price, Ren. How about if I offered to trade my Dork Ops Al-Qaida Eviscerator? It was used to kill an Oompa Loompa.

I found a sharp rock in the backyard :p

actually my oldest is only a Tinker I carried in high school, maybe around 15 years old.

I have my gr, gr grandfather's bayonet that he used in the Civil War. He fought for the South and I'm pretty sure it was made here in Mississippi.

I have a bunch of keris that are pretty old. Although this one really isn't that impressive as far as keris go, it might be my oldest. The fittings are all new, but the blade could be 13th or 14th century.

I've and old, all metal Barlow from about 1940 (a calculated guess from what I've been told). It was given to me, about 4 years ago, by a woman who was 70. She said she remembered her dad using that knife when she was about 12. Whoever made it back then did a great job, I've EDC'd it for a couple of months and it worked fine the whole time.

1975 Buck 110. My mother gave it to me for my birthday when I was still serving in the Air Force. It is now safely sitting in a box hidden in my house. My mother passed away 11yrs ago and this one thing that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

1920s Case Pen, it has a small blade that'll bend over like a fillet knife 'bout 40 degrees and flex back straight, I was told it was made thin and tempered that way so as to follow the curve on the inside of a tobacco pipe when cleaning the bowl.

I'll look for a pic.
