What is your opinion of Elk Ridge knives? Although priced very low they appear to be very well made. The fit and finish are excellent, the parts are brass, the sheath is nice, it has a full width tang, and mine can be made very sharp. How well it holds an edge I don't know because I've used it little. The blade says 440 stainless, but I don't know if it's 440 A, B, or C-does anyone? Mine is the "Small Hunter". If the blade is a quality steel why spend a lot for a comparable knife? Also, how do I search within the forum? I don't see a search option anywhere. Thanks for any replies.
