Your Opinion Please - BF Username

Since I came up with such a lame BF Username when I signed up, I'm thinking about changing it. Mulder was kind enough to give some direction on how to do it.

Here's my question: Is it appropriate to use my new inducted HOG name as my new Username??? I don't see where anyone else has done this and I certainly want to stay within HOGDOM protocol. Your Opinion Please:thumbup::thumbdn:
 
Sure why not, unless you frequent many other forums and then it might not be your best choice.
 
we all had a cool name when we joint the BF
thats why we still got that name
no nonsens if you want a other name just do it.
better a HOG name than any other

No one has a dumber user name then me. Id say keep the one you have now specially if its the one you use on other forums. I cant stand when people use different names for different forums.
 
I caught some heat from the Hog counsel for my BF user name, apparently there wasn't enough scotch available to inspire something novel, a least for a while, but I had my user name (since birth) before I found Busse knives.

I've had a couple of Hog names :confused:, I'm so confused, not to mention what Jerry called me before I was a candidate for Hogdom :eek:, or what he calls me offline :o :p

I'd stick with what you have, if you use it elsewhere, it'll get recognized across the various forums.
 
I'd say keep the Forum name that you have already. I don't find it to be that bad, or stupid in any way, IMO. :thumbup: ...BUT, if you are looking for a precedent on name changes to a HOG name; 'wash' changed his name to Hogwash after he was inducted @ BLADE last summer, when he upgrade his membership to Gold.
 
most here know me by my forum handle, and it has been the same since i joined.

i have the same handle on a few other forums and ebay. that is the reason i dont change it, though i have considered having my actual name on the net is not so wise.

i have gone so far as to remove my email addy from bf in all but two posts where it was quoted.

luckily, a google/yahoo search for my full name comes up with zero, and a search for my user name only yields a couple returns, both here.


i say go for it. why not have you hog name be your handle? if my handle wasnt so "used" by me, id change mine too.

I like the name "ceiw". You're known by this name here, but if you willing to change it to your HOG name - I don't see why not :thumbup:

It's what's called the "alpha code" for a small short line railroad I manage. Every railroad (even the big ones) are assigned a distinctive code for identification purposes. Don't ask me why...it just sounded good at the time...obviously before I got insanely hooked on Busse knives:D
