Hello everyone again!

I was wondering what are your most used knives in outdoor or have reserved for outdoor use mainly? Generally speaking anything from backyard work to camping and hiking. Before joining this forum, I had only one. My 12 year old puukko that has been with me through heaven and hell and survived abuse. But after I joined BF I understood that every knife requires a specific tool. Jack ofa ll trade is not master of anything.

Mine are here:

Top to bottom:
Becker Bk-7
Scrapyard Dumpster Mutt with Bill Siegle modded blade (Full Flat grind instead saber )
Morris Custum Utility 3"
Morris Fire Necker
ZT 0500 MUDD

Becker BK-7 is mainly for chopping and such and usually reserved for
camping or occasions where heavy duty knife maybe required.

I aquired recently from fellow forumite Scrapyard Dumpster Mutt and I plan to use it mainly as EDC in forrest and camping. I haven't tested it yet in real action but Scrapyard knives are tough and I really like this one. Feels good, tough and very balanced. Excellent sheath with flexible attachment via blade-tech.

Morris custom utility. My main carry in day hikes and with kamera. Also my choice when we go my friends cabin. Wicked sharp. Tough knife that is also pleasing to eyes and feels very good. This replaced my 12 year + old puukko as main carry in outdoors.

Morris File Necker. I love this small and whicked shapr necker. Good back up in outdoors. Excellent for smaller tasks and utility back up. I use this a lot indoors as utility knife but this is excellent knife to take on almost everywhere as its light and easy to carry around neck.

ZT 0500 MUDD. My camping folder. I still haven't tested this thoroughly but but so far I love this one and all owners so far have impressed by this as have I.

Those are my current users. Thinking of buying something more "earthly" puukko soon.

I have really trimmed down my knife collection, gifting or just boxing up the knives I don't use.(I do have a custom scandi due to arrive next month that I will add to my "users")

These are what I kept out. They all see outdoors use. The small fixed and the SAK are also my everyday carry knives.

My Victorinox Soldier used to be my pocket knife on camping trips.

But I replaced it by the Victorinox Farmer.

For fixed knives I have my Mora's. I don't know the types, bought them in a shop in Mora (Sweden).

Edit: my most used camping folder is an EKA Swede 60. I bought a Spyderco Tenacious and CRKT Lake 111 this year, but haven't used them yet in the outdoors.

Are your Morris knives from Mike Morris of Mich.? I just picked one up at the Novi show and am very pleased with it. A fantastic knife for general use and easy to keep razor sharp.

Yes, snowalker, they are from Michael Morris, Yale, Michigan. His knives are superb. They come razor sharp and they get wicked edge when stropped.

I have two in particular that I have used over and over in the outdoors. My Fixed blade is a Gerber Big Rock - it's simple, has a great blade shape and ergonomics, and it's worked for me for a good while now and actually takes a good edge with my Lansky turnbox.

For my outdoor folder it's my Emerson Commander. It's taken a real beating from slicing, light chopping, batoning, prying, etc... I liked it so much that I recently got the auto version with the kershaw/emerson collaboration:

As outdoor knife i preffer fixed blade. Although I have some knives with better finish, this is still my most used one:

I like it so much probably because I have been participant in its design and manufacturing ;).

IT DEPENDS WHERE I'M GOING, WHAT I'M DOING. HERE ARE MY TOP FOUR
LEFT TO RIGHT: SOG FIELD PUP; CAMILLUS PILOTS KNIFE; GERBER LMF; RANGER RD6

THE ONE I LIKE THE BEST, FEELS THE BEST, MOST PRACTICAL FOR WHEN I CAMP/HIKE/ETC. IS MY CAMILLUS PILOTS KNIFE :)
