Your thoughts on using water filtrations bottles?

Hey Guys! Samantha from CampingSurvival.com! When I can, I really enjoy camping and hiking..I was wondering how many people out there have ever used either, or both, of these water filtration bottles before? Did you prefer one over the other? I personally use the LifeStraw brand bottle..but which do you prefer? Or if you have any other favorites!

I still don't know if you are in central NY or NC ! Anyway we just had our second big storm of the winter ,not the snow but very high winds took out power for about 8 hours .I could sneak across to close by PA and get water but all the questions came up again and I want to hear the discussions. I'm looking at UV systems which seem to be a good system for me.
