Is there any way to adjust the forum's settings such that our members wouldn't find themselves in the position of just having spent an hour crafting a thoughtful response to someone's inquiry only to have the entire post lost because a token has expired? Do we have any control over how long a period of time must elapse before this happens. Yes, I'm pissed right now.

I know, I know. And you know the answer. However long it goes on, it will expire before someone posts. Compose offline on a word processor and paste it in. At the very least, copy it before you post, and then you've got it on your clipboard. I know under some conditions, hitting the back arrow will restore the text.

You can get an offline editor that lets you write out a post with VBulletin formatting and paste it in when you're ready. Probably the best solution.

Honestly, Esav, I don't understand the technical reasoning behind this. I recall the forum working splendidly for many years without this annoying little habit.

At any rate, the advice from yourself and Kiah regarding saving your work is well taken - not always convenient when most of your posting is done from a phone, but not impossible either. Thanks, guys.
