There are always a few knives that you come across that you just have to keep that fit you for your needs. Here are mine.
1) Gerber Mark I. This knife is the one I always dreamed about having as a kid. Used this one with a customized sheath when I was an Army Paratrooper. Last time I saw this one used was in the James Bond movie "The World is Not Enough".
2) Benchmade Mini AFCK. The is the "Go there, Do this" folding knife. Love the G-10 handles and modified linerlock. Attention sheeple, AFCK stands for Advanced Folding Combat Knife.
3) Microtech Mini Socom. The 154CM blade holds an edge longer than the $30V on my UMS models. Held open with a thick liner also made from 154CM, this knife is a folding surgical tool.
4) Cold Steel Bush Ranger. The 7 1/2" AUS-8A blade sharpens easy and cuts thru everything. Definetly the "Anti-Terrorist Knife".
5) Microtech UTX-70. The 2"+ blade is about useless as a hard use knife, but has a big "WOW" effect with others. I got tired of the Gerber toting yokals offering $20 everytime they see it, so now I interupt and just say, "You can't afford it".
What do you have to say about your favorites?

Lets see, My carry every where, every day knife is the Victorinox Explorer. I have not been without it for even one day in the last 30 years. I am on my third one now. My Kershaw Blackout is always clipped in my right pocket. I love this knife for its size, easy opening and edge holding plus easy sharpening features. My general all around fixed blade is the SOG Northwest Ranger. This knife will do about everything in the hunting and camping field although I also have a Kershaw Outcast in my camping supplies. This for heavy duty chopping if I don't have my hatchet. Then of course, I have a Mora for every purpose.:D

My Alaskan Guide Buck 110....an American classic with top tier blade-steel.
This one is my current EDC and handles every cutting task with ease.
And it's more comfortable than most knives that I've used.

Victorinox Super Tinker....it's just so dang handy to have around that I find myself reaching for it time and time again.
Great for tightening a screw, opening a bottle, trimming something with the scissors, and the tweezers and toothpick are useful too.
The Swiss can't miss!

Kershaw Ken Onion Leek....very subtle and easy to carry. And deploys lightning quick.
Not too big nor too small.
