Anyone have a super favorite in the Assisted Opening arena, 3.25 - 4.0 inch blade length, and under $300.00?

Dominator! Or if you are cheap like me get the Blaze, Heat, etc. You will be getting a Dominator shortly after.

Oh oh oh.... Spec Bump. Has to be a Spec Bump. With that fancy new injection molded steel, double springs, G10 handles, studlock safety, and double torsion bars, the Spec Bump is a sure winner. With an MSRP of $199.99, it fits your price, too.

Also, be looking for the S30V/G10 version of the Leek soon!

I love my blaze. The heat is a larger version but I believe both will fit in your length requirements. For the price and quality you cannot beat them.

I don't currently own any. I had a Scallion a while back, but the lock on it was terrible, so I gave it away. I intend to get the Spec Bump when the new version comes out, and perhaps someday the original Blue Bump. I'm also interested in the S30V G10 Leek, but I'm going to look into the lock on it first.

Ah man... dude... for $300, you could get the new Spec Bump AND the new Leek, both featuring the S30V blade and G-10 handles. No contest in my book.

I like assisted opening knives from Kershaw. They (Kershaw) are working hard and spending their own money to keep assisted openers legal. I've not heard of any other knife companies doing this. I will always support a company who fights for me.

I love my new Kershaw Offset.

Chuck,
Thanks for that info! I'll go peruse there online catalog now.

I own a Kershaw Leek and a Buck Rush. They are both great.

Of the AO knives that I don't own, the ones I want the most are Kershaw Spec Bump, Kershaw Offset, and Combat Elite RRF.

I'd also like a Kershaw Random Task, if I even come across one.

A Kershaw Blue Bump would be nice, too, but I'd rather get a Spec Bump first as I like the looks a lot more and love G-10.

can't believe nobody has mentioned the BM Apparition.

Best assisted opener out there.
