i just wanna hear everyone's experience with Kershaw/ZT for 2011.

Here is my year with these awesome knives! I picked up a packrat, 2 skylines, leek, blur, and a 0300. Both the skyline and the packrat have fixed many B-52 bombers. Sadly i got deployed and had to give up my year old pre-order on a tilt but i got to see some awesome things. I took the 0300 cave diving in a jungle. Gave a skyline, leek, and blur to friends to spread the joy. Now all i have left is to sit back and enjoy the rest of the year.

Please share your year with the best knife company ever and enjoy the memories

The only one I picked up for myself this year was a Spec Bump that I've been very happy with. I did, however, give my cousin a Tremor for graduation, Girlfriend a Skyline for her birthday, and two friends and S30V Leek and a composition edge JYD II for christmas. Also gave a Chill to a coworker for our secret Santa exchange. So Kershaw has treated me and many others well this year.

Not to kick a dead horse and it's been address already but unfortunately I was not able to purchase any ZT/Kershaw knives other than a ZT0350 just because none of the knives that were announced came out except for the imported ones.

Wish someone could loan me a Rake though, that model looks amazing.

Well, I used to be a Traditional guy and just carried slip joints of the Case, Queen, or Schrade variety. Then it all changed in 2011. It all started a while back when a friend gave me an OD-1. I placed it in the safe and forgot about it. Then, in October, I went to a flea market. At the flea market I found three Kershaw's at a booth, two scallions and a Packrat serrated. I picked the three up for 40 bucks. I hadn't really even thought of buying any Kershaws. So, I got on the forums and started reading the Kershaw forum, and began my love of Kershaws. Then, the next weekend, I went back and found some more. This time I picked up two Tanto Blurs and a Shallot for 50 bucks. I thought well why not try another weekend. So, I went back again. This time I found an orange Zing, another scallion, an Oso Sweet, a Mini Cyclone serrated and a G10 S30V Leek. I asked about a package deal for the whole group. The young fella running the booth started getting on his phone internet to see what each was worth. I offered him 75 bucks, and he took it. So, I ended up with 11 Kershaws that all looked unused with the factory edges for about 15 bucks a piece. I couldn't believe my luck in finding them!!!!

In the meantime I found the OD-1 in the safe and pulled it out to start using it. And, I found a G10 Speed Bump on the auction site and bought it before I learned they were selling cheaper on Amazon. So, for 2011 I ended up with 13 Kershaws, and a LOVE for going to the flea market!!!

My kiddo's got a Kershaw each in the stocking for Christmas. Mitch and Matthew got the two Blurs. My daughter, Michelle, got the Shallot. And, I really felt like I had some really good fortune, and learned so much from the folks here on the forum that I did a give away for the new year. And, hopefully, that give away will start a passion for Kershaw's in each of the kids that are receiving Kershaw knives from it.

So, 2011 has been a VERY good year for me with Kershaw, and the Kershaw forum. I'm hooked on Kershaw. And, I plan on buying some more when I'm able. My goal for 2012 is to buy a ZT. I'm not sure how long it will take cause they are more than I can typically spend from my budget. But, it's sure on my want list. I'm not sure which one yet. But, I really like them all from the pics and stuff I'm reading. I still haven't seen on in person. But, I know I'll love it when I do.

i got a handful of kershaws and a ZT. have to say my favorite is the tilt. its pure awesome :D

I'm kinda glad I don't have much disposable income :)

I got a JYD, Ram and Skyline. Sold my Leek, it just seemed too fragile.

A few ZT 0551's, Skyline Black and the Red G10 version, but my favorite is the TILT!!! I love that knife!

ZT0350, Shallot, Scallion, and Blur. Gave the Shallot to my brother, contemplating selling the 0350, and my Blur has been my EDC.

In short: Loving it!

Now to get more knives.

I have never owned a Kershaw/ZT but ordered an ZT 0300 on New Years Eve. I'm looking forward to receiving the knife I've been considering for a very long time.

Started with a Vapor 2. Now have Blurs in Black, Desert Sand/black, Olive Drabe/black, OCC, SG10, and an SG10 30th Anniversary is on the way. In Leeks I have a 1660, 1660BB, 1660RB, 1660CKT, and a 1660OCC.

I just got into Kershaw knives this year, as I was never a liner-lock fan before.

But their version od assisted-opening and flipper models have changed my mind in a big way!

I an up to five of them now:

Blue & black Leek.

Knockout.

Skyline.

Tremor.

Oso Sweet.

Considering a few more for this year too:

Volt II.

Cryo.

Piston.

Diskin Hunter fixed blade.
