Just managed to get a few fakes I spotted removed from a certain auction site. This isn't the first time either. I would hate for someone to get one of these (pretty convincing) fakes and have them fall apart when they need it most, and swear off Spyderco forever. I know fakes are a big problem for the company, but your loyal fans are ever vigilant Mr. Glesser, and won't tolerate sub-par clones of your genius designs.

Just an FYI, the models in question were the "H1" yellow dragonflies. Now that I know what to look for I can spot them a mile away :)

Hi suedeface,
Thanks much for your support. We truly do appreciate it! Please consider posting on our site forum - we have an area devoted to counterfeits that you can find here, http://www.spyderco.com/forumII/viewforum.php?f=8. We try to consolidate all the reports as much as we can so that our legal team can follow the reports as they happen. Please know that we do watch the posts regularly, but we do not comment often as to what we do. Sometimes we'll have auctions taken down and other times we won't. If we don't have an auction removed - there are other things in play and we are actively watching and most likely taking other steps that can lead to something much bigger than the removal of one auction. We can't get into specifics or explain why we make the choices we do, but know that our team is committed to doing all that we can to fight this issue.

Make it a good day and thanks again for your support!

Kristi
