Can anyone help me to pick a decent YOUTH sized watch for my son? He is almost 10 and I'd like to buy him a decent watch that is safe to swim with. One that looks nice and is tough. I am thinking Analog instead of one with all kinds of bells and whistles.

Any ideas, suggestions and Pictures?

Thanks!

Take a look at campmor.com. They usually have a good selection of kids watches for little $.

Thanks! That sounds like a great watch!!

Anyone else recommend anything in particular, or just something with hands on it? LOL

I guess ebay has some watches too....

:jerkit:

LL Bean have their Field watch and also a Timex with proper hands on their website. The ladies field watch is smaller Don't tell him though. Might be the regular one is OK, not a huge watch by current standards.

Thanks... I think I'll get him a Swiss Army watch in Ladies size... and not mention that part! ha ha

Heard that.. I did the same for my sons. SAW are excellent watches, for over 30 years they have been our exclusive choice,. I still have a Lancer I purchased in about 76'

Go ahead and get him a full size.
I got my son a 3/4 size Luminox when he was 10.I just got him a full size Luminox to replace it at 12 years old.He said something about how small the other one was after wearing the full size for a day or two.The full size in a good watch will also be with him well into adulthood.

Yeah I think I'll go ahead and get him the full size Swiss Army Watch... It doesn't look too huge I guess. He's growin fast!
