THis is a great and useful IMHO youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/wildernessoutfitters

Wildernessoutfitters.

They go through a cheap kit build up that is pretty informative. There isnt alot of GB's, Wetterlings. etc in the kit, but he makes some useful points and buys some decent kit on the cheap. Dave, if you are on this forum let me know. Great channel :thumbup:
 
Isn't he like.. away shooting for Discovery right now? And he took a LOT of his vids down recently.

His page still has some good info, but a lot has been taken down.

I have no idea. If he is away w/ Discovery, I'll be sure to catch his series! :eek: :thumbup:

Youtube shows 277 vids still...that's alot IMHO!
 
I hope he hasn't taken a bunch of videos down? There are many that I want to watch, just haven't had the time. I'm sure there are many people on this forum more skilled than him, but he definitely has more skills then me, so I watch. Only thing I've seen that I don't agree with is his high recommendation of ka-bars as woods survival knives.
