Hello to everyone on the porch!
I have been perusing and posting here for several years, a little over 5 I guess.
Anyway, I recently decided if I'm going to be buying, selling, and trading knives I might as well make some quick videos so that anyone who would like to check these knives out but doesn't get the chance to see them in person can at least get a look. I know that some of the more desirable GEC knives are becoming pretty difficult to get ahold of, so I hope my videos let more people see these great knives and hopefully they also introduce traditionals to some people not yet interested.
Some of the most difficult to get GEC knives are the Rendezvous Special knives. These are made in small quantities (last year's run of 51, I believe, was the largest) and are only able to be purchased at the Rendezvous in Titusville. I'm fortunate to have grown up less than an hour's drive from Titusville, and my father lives within 20 minutes, but even with that you have to get there in the wee hours of the morning (if not earlier!
) to get one of these knives these days. Also, unlike most of the other highly sought after GECs, these Rendezvous Knives seem to come up for sale or trade EXTREMELY rarely. I have the knives from the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Rendezvous and thought I'd post a thread and upload a series of my 1 Minute Overviews on the Rendezvous Knives. I will also do a Knife Talk video on them, probably both before and after this year's Rendezvous.
