I had been using this little Swamp Rat prototype for a couple of weeks in the kitchen before I misplaced it . . . I thought!

It turns out that my lovely wife, Jennifer, kitnapped the little slicer when I wasn't looking!!!

She keeps hiding it when she's not using it!

Now, I'm gonna need another one!!! . . . ASAP!!!

C'mon Jerry Busse ! We need some more kitchen knives from Busse. Most of my Busse's are in the safe and rarely leave aside from my Flak Jack that I carry when walking my dog. I wish I had a nice set of Infi kitchen knives I could use daily.

Idk, my WD5 Fury is my go to kitchen slicer and I've yet to see anything on it.

Interesting, what finish? I left my stonewashed AC out for about a week before washing after slicing salt pepper and vinegar coated pork, spotless.

Mine is stonewashed also. I have abused and neglected my Galley Rat for over a year with no oxidation while after a month of similar treatment with my AC, I have several growing oxidation spots. I'm currently traveling but can take some pics in a week or so.

Nice. I have a stonewashed Galley Rat, but have yet use it. I've been using my Alpha Chef as my main kitchen knife since it arrived. Love the handle, took a minute to get used to the geometry, but absolutely no issues with staining.

The two make a good combo in the kitchen. I was a little surprised but not soured. I do neglect them sometimes and it is what it is.

Finally getting some pics for this.
So here's a GR that was used in the kitchen and has some oxidation on it.
And, here's a Fury that's been used quite a bit and often times just washed and left wet to dry.
No biggie at all for me though.

I was surprised. Galley Rat is from the original run and has been used/abused since put in my hand.

The Alpha Chef tried to hang with the Galley Rat but started staining right away!
