. . . . Oh yeah!!!!
The new Satin Jack TAC will feature full height, convex grinds!!!!!
We have already received a large number of military pre-orders for the new Satin Jack TAC where it will see "heavy action" in the urban warfare taking place in Iraq. Along with these orders has been an expessed need for "any and all additional" lateral strength possible on these blades. The easiest and least expensive route of accomplishing this request would be to lower the grind height for additional full stock thickness above the grind. Unfortunately, this would compromise the cutting efficiency of these blades. So, instead of taking the easy route, we have opted to employ the much more labor intensive process of employing full-height convex grinds. These full-height convex grinds will substantially add to the overall strength of the SJTAC while allowing for a very fine and efficient cutting edge geometry.
The Busse Combat grinding team is excited about this new protocol. . . (The INFI Grinding Team is made up of quite a few heavy drinkers!)
Pics are on their way!!!!!
Nuke on my convex grind loving friends!!!!!
