How the contest WINNER was determined:
The contest winner was determined by subtracting the amount of incorrect guesses from the amount of correct guesses in each entry... If the entry had under 11 guesses for the serial numbers, then each "non" guess from the amount guessed up to 11, counts as 1 incorrect guess each and is subtracted from the correct guess total. If the amount guessed was over 11, these additional incorrect guesses were subtracted from the correct guess total...
Examples:
A. 8 guesses would leave 3 numbers not guessed as incorrect since no number was chosen.
(3,4,5,27,28,29,122,999,?,?,?) = -5
B. 17 guesses would leave 6 automatically incorrect since these numbers would not be correct.
(3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,100) = +1.
An incorrect guess as to part one, "How many?", requesting a guess as to the total amount of LE ASH-1's did not count against each player. A correct guess as to the total amount of LE ASH-1's counted as +1 towards the total of correct guesses by each player.
Yep... it wasn't the easiest contest ever for both entering or determining, but we have a winner!!
