These knives are awsome first time seeing them. Anybody with any experience with these knives and are they available

I've never handled one, but I have one on order. Ordered a hard 1, Damascus blade, CF and Asian hardwood handle. Type S. He is currently taking orders. Waiting list is at about 1 year I think.

I recently received an EQ-2. I ordered it on May 25th, 2011, and it came 8 days shy of a year. Well worth the wait though. As good as everyone says.

Yeah, I believe he's still taking orders, but the wait will probably be longer than a year I imagine. It was only 8-10 months when I ordered mine and it took longer. But again worth it. I'm about to order a Mini-Hard 1 -small choil- as soon as I decide on the materials. My EQ-2 has ZDP-189, but I believe Yun is using M390 now on all of his blades.

I have two of them...unbelievable quality. Great design and craftsmanship. The only downside is that there are limited numbers of them because they are all hand made by Yun in Thailand. Get one if you can, either from Yun himself (about a one year lead time) or at a premium in the secondary market. Either way they are worth it.

i have had one and loved it crazy nice quality! definitely worth the price.
