Yunaknives "HARD 1" (ZDP189/ATS-34 laminated) cutting test!

Hi all,

Just fo fun:) Today I have time to test my knives, HARD1. the spec of this knife is :

Blade steel - ZDP-189/ATS-34 laminated steel, 4 mm. thickness. 64 Rc. hardness.
Heat treatment - Double temper&Sub- Zero quenched
Blade length - 4" ( tip to flipper ),hand rubbed satin finished 1 3/16" widest
Handle - Black G10, 5" length and widest 1 1/2"
Lock system - 6AL 4V titanium flame lock 1/8" thickness and Thumber stop
Flame and clip - 6AL 4V titanium
Pivot screw - Hardened 440C
Thumb stud - Hardened SUH 3, this steel is valve steel in diesel engine

1. I cut the paper to insist it's scary sharp! :)

2.Gas force rubber tube cutting. I cut to 20 cuts.

3. I cut the paper again.

4. Go to cut the rubber to 50 cuts.

5. Cut the paper again.

6. Go to cut the rubber tube to 100 cuts.

7. Cut the paper again.

8. I go to test the edge and flame lack with Zinc,0.8mm thickness by stabbing! :)

9. Cut the paper. It's stay sharp!

That's pretty cool.

When testing the frame lock, I can tell that you've got a lot of confidence in your work. If I were testing a new knife, I would wear chainmail butcher's gloves. A knife that sharp could take away your bowling fingers.

How are those fixed-blades coming along.;)
 
I like that set of test photos, as a user of knives that means allot to me. Wish I could afford one. Maybe one day. Thanks again that proves how good you make knives to me.

I'm new to the forum but have been looking around for awhile. That is one sweet knife, exactly what I would love to clip to my pocket. I just wish I could afford some of your knifes they are truely beautiful. Thank for the pictures.

I think that's the nicest tactical folder I've seen in a long time! The ergo's look excellent! How much?
