Hey all, just wanted to show the blade I've been working on. It's another themed kotanto, this one's theme is yuugure, meaning dusk or twilight. I just finished polishing up the blade and filing the mekugi ano, I'm hoping to get this one done in the next week or two.
The saya is drying right now, but it has an ishimeji finish with copper cladding. The tsuka has a blackened copper habaki, seppa, fuchi, and kashira, and has a full samegawa wrap. I'm planning on lacquering over the same and then filing/sanding off the top of the nodes to make it look like white stars on a black background. The hamon is hitatsura and I'm really happy with the activity I got. :) I'm also going to make a matching katalox and spalted maple stand for it

Well, let me know what you think! All comments are welcome :)
