I don't know how I managed to get 208 posts ahead of Rusty up to right now though.
He and I were going neck and neck there for a while.
Maybe I'll pour myself a short one before I get ready for bed tonight to celebrate.
Haven't had one for quite a while now.:)

And even more importantly it would also let me celebrate another great day of walking out at the zoo again.
I managed to walk a good 250 - 300 yards without stopping once at one stretch!!!! :eek:
Then I actually ran, Yes Ran, about 40 feet just to show off a little and to see if I could still do it. Barb told me that people were gonna be looking at me like I was crazy by running and pushing a walker.:D
But there wasn't anyone close by and besides it Just felt Really Good! :D :D


Needless to say that I'm a little sore again, but like before it's a good sore and I feel really wonderful! :D
And I can't fathom the amount of improvement in just the 3 days we have walked this week. It is absolutely amazing!:eek:
And we walked a whole lot further again today as well. My goal is to be able to start at the gate and go all the way around without stopping once. Maybe when I get to where I can do that I may not need the walker anymore but we'll see.

Showing off is ok. Just don't go and injure yourself.
 
Congrats on your 8,000 posts! And more important, I’m glad you’re feeling so good with your exercises. It doesn’t matter that you do a little at a time; it’s just better to do something than to do nothing. ;)
 
I think Uncle Bill's probably one of the only ones who has you beat! Looking forward to the next 8000!

Congrats on # 8000, Yvsa! You have taught an awful lot of us an awful lot of things:) Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better. I think you'll be surprised out how quickly you'll start to feel a spring in your step:)

And many of the 8000 were educational and helpful from an old ndn who knows a lot of stuff and all were much appreciated by me. Yvsa has helped make this forum what it is -- the most popular forum on Bladeforums.
 
Way to go Edutsi...both on the posts and the walks! Next time I visit, we'll go walking in the woods and chop stuff up!

On a certain musical instrument forum I know, they post babe pics and cheese sticks for this sort of occasion. I don't know what rules are in place about posting babes so you get a mild one:
