A while back, when Yvsa passed away, you forumites donated
money for his memorial. I sent the donated money to the shop for
my father, the Kamis and the shop managers. They all said special
prayers for Yvsa.

One of the decisions we made after Yvsa passed away was to
memorialize his talent by putting his initial, Y.G., on both the
Cherokee Rose and the YCS.

The Kamis chose to feed the bichu, so Yvsa can get all the blessings
possible for his next life, instead of spending the donations on food
and drinks.

The Kamis said that they always treat with food and drinks on all
occasions, but this time they wanted to do some dharma prayers for
Yvsa so he would be blessed for all he had done for both HI and the
Kamis before he passed away.

The Edutsi Memorial was nicely done and many thanks have been
sent your way for those who donated to his memorial.

These pictures were taken during prayers ceremony

My no.1 that I don't even want to use is a white horn YCS custom. One of my main users is a neem YCS which was also my first HI made khuk. I wish I could have expressed to Yvsa before he passed my gratitude towards his design. I'm going to have to order a 3rd YCS with an engraving when my wallet permits.

Beautifully done 19.5 inch 31 ounce YCS with Yvsa Y.G initial by Tirtha. Horn handle. Out standing work by Tirtha. Add to collection at $175. *SOLD*

ETA: I haven't been on the forum here in a long time and I'm sorry to hear this news.. Its somewhat warming to know his blades live on...

I'm bumping this in hopes that someone buys that gorgeous Rose. Seriously, that one is a jaw dropper. You don't see them in horn like that very often. That one is stunning.
