I finally downloaded the pix from my camera of the SWKK today along with some other pix I had taken such as the ones of the 27" Royal Banspati and the "Surya, Chandra and Tara" Khukuri that was Rusty's.
I'll upload those pix to my online storage in a while so as to not eat up so much of BFC's bandwidth but in the meantime I thought y'all might enjoy seeing a pic of me speechless. ;)
This was taken when Gin and Nasty presented me with the $150.00 money order for my Foxy Folly. Thanks again one and all!!!!

Oh what the hell! I went ahead an resized one of the pix of the Sun, Moon and Stars, "Surya, Chandra, Tara" pix of Rusty's old khuk and attached it for a tease. I just realized that when I was taking the pix I failed to get a full sized picture of the khukuri as I was more interested in getting what was imprinted on the blade when it was super red hot. :grumpy:
Sorry for the sizes but when I get them uploaded off site they will be full sized if possible at all.

Edit:
Munk says the "Surya, Chandra, Tara" Khukuri looks like a Hanshee and I suppose it kind of does at that.:D  :D
I'll try to get some full sized pix of it before I upload to my off site storage place.

Yvsa! Get a pic of Munk while he's there. He's the one forumite I don't think I've ever saw. I am imagining a skinny guy with long hair and fingernails like Howard Hughes! (kidding)

That khuk is beautiful Yvsa! It looks like part of the blade had crosshatching a bit like that on the 18th Century? So it's about 17"-18" OAL?

Can't wait to see more pics!

Thanks again.

The kukri Yvsa recieved from our Late Friend is wonderful. So is his prototype of the new FF. You guys were very nice to that old man and I know you touched his heart with the gesture represented in the money order, much more than the money, of course.

Oh, as for me- yes, my hair is over my ears again, and this morning Yvsa asked me when I was going to shave? We're going to a Sweat tonight, my first, and I thought looking shipshape might be a sign of respect for the event, so I shaved off some of the hair on my face and neck. If I let it go you'd see one of those black and white photos of a Coal miner from a 150 years ago, stove pipe beard growing under his chin.

Don't let him sh*t you, Munk would have to let it go for at least a year before it resembled anything like a stovepipe.
Looked more like a wild beaver to me than a stovepipe and I don't mean the kind that swims and has a naked tail.:p ;) :D

Just tzn Munk, don't hit me! :p ;) :D

I can't get no respect.
I'd shaved off my beard and left just the chin a month ago. I'd resisted this style, but finally wanted to try it. On vacation everything grew. Yvsa's right about one thing; it's thin on the sides and takes a while to fill in to look even half right. Half right's about all I get.
The neck grows thicker than the sides of my jaw. That's to keep the COUGARS from knowing exactly where to bite to find the arteries...either that or something went wrong in the vat when I was designed.
