Z-tuff Phillip Patton

Awesome knife Matt, I've always admired His work there is just something special about his knives. You always have all the cool bowie/fighters.:thumbsup:

Deeeelicious!

Love this knife. Kinda surprised you didn’t go for sharpened swedge but looks outstanding! It always feels good when you know what kind of knife you want and get that knife. There are lots of knives I love and want but getting one that suits your purposes exactly is a whole nothsr story.

Enjoy it!

Btw what were those finger ring knives above it on the table that you flashed?

Color in the handle too. What is that material? In did you do the color change or was it there to begin with?

Natural canvas micarta. The color transition was done by the maker.

And Lapedog Lapedog those are a project by my apprentice.

Beautiful knife, and extremely well executed. Looks like a great, balanced, tough EDC or woods knife.

I don’t wander in here often but this one caught my attention. Can always count on CM to keep it real. That’s the one.

Very knice. You just have to love Phillip's blades. I'm a little shocked that we don't see more of them.

Very nice blade. What made you choose the length? Is it around 7" or 7.5"?

I'm drawn to that size as well but I question the trade-off for a larger or smaller knife.

After carrying a TGLB, I felt something a bit shorter would be perfect and 7.5" from tip to guard is the sweet spot.
