This is a nice Z-Wear 5.5” hunter with a gorgeous ringed gidgee frame handle. I took the blade to 0.005” before sharpening. I used a black g-10 guard. The sheath is pretty basic, but is horizontal carry.

I have sold them as either, a hunter, or a fighter. A bit of crossover for sure. I tend to think if fighters as 7” or longer, but that is just me.
 
If anyone is interested, I have a few more of this pattern heat treated, and on my bench getting ready for handles. I have z-wear, M4, z-tuff, 26c3, S-35vn, W2, and hitachi blue. Handles will be whatever the buyer chooses, as can be the guard. I think I have one in 3V too. I’ll have to check. The suminigashi one is already spoken for. With my new press, I’ll be doing pattern welded versions after Christmas.

Thanks. My light box was put away a while ago as I was so busy with my regular work. I’m embarrassed by my picture quality. I’ll look for some pics during the build. There are pics of the gidgee for sure as I polished it,
