Anyone know anything about this steel or have experience using it?

I think you mean Z60CDV14 steel, produced by Sandvik and Bonpertuis. Similar to AUS 6A.
No personal experience, but should perform close to AUS 6A.

Oh because my friend offered me a CRKT Navajo and i asked him about the steel and he said it was better tan his benchmades... Guess not. But at least it is easy to sharpen.

Don't knock it. Sandvik QC is great and proper heat treat will result in the great blade
