'Zaan Sharpening--Info Request

Greetings,

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but anybody know offhand what the factory sharpening angle on a CRK 'Zaan is?

Any recommendations as to good angle/polish? I want a good, durable working edge, Apex Edge Pro style.:thumbup:

CRK sharpens by hand so the angle varies.

A good angle and polish depends on what you want to get out of the steel.

Both of mine were in the 20 DPS range, I used 18 DPS at 400 grit on mine when I had them.
