ZDP 189 polish, with blade swap!!

This is my first ZDP 189 equipped blade! I swapped for some purple scales and spent some time after dinner sharpening the heck out of it..

You dig?

I have to say this edge came out very nice, I don't know if I just did a good job today or if ZDP just loves being shiny!!

Looks good. What was your process?
 
Im to lazy to do it by hand anymore so I invested in a 1x30 and progress through 12 different grit/steps. Up to .25 micron diamond. followed by a little hand stropping on that strop its sitting on.
 
yours has the 'spyderco' and 'zdp 189' acid-etched,like the spyder logo,right? mine are stamped, just like the delicas.
 
wow look nice! If you polish zdp-189 like that it will hold an edge longer, and doesn't chip so quickly!
